  Hollyfort and Gorey Writers and friends  with Haiku facilitator Maeve O'Sullivan In 2024, the Hollyfort Writers group participated in three workshops facilitated in their lovely venue, Hollyfort Old School. Chairperson Bernie Walsh welcomed Anne McLoughlin with her workshop on short story writing, Jackie Hayden and his workshop on Novel writing, and Maeve O’Sullivan on Haiku and meditation workshop. These courses were very instructive and much enjoyed. The group returns in September 2025 for another year of writing and fun!

Meetings online

Carol, Lucy and Paulette at first night   Due to Covid-19 pandemic health restrictions, Hollyfort Writers are meeting online. Once a month, we send out invitations to join us on Zoom and, in the meantime, we meet in a Whatsapp group where we record our writings following the weekly prompt.
